Immunization Program. As a condition of certification as a FCMH provider, the PIHP must share member immunization status with the Local Health Departments and other non-profit HealthCheck providers upon their request without the necessity of member authorization. The Department also requires that the Local Health Departments and other non-profit HealthCheck providers share the same information with the PIHP upon request. This provision ensures proper coordination of immunization services and prevents duplication of services. The PIHP must have a signed user agreement with the Wisconsin Immunization Registry (WIR) or must be able to demonstrate that its major providers have signed WIR user agreements.
