ILLNESS WHILE AT WORK. An Employee who becomes ill at work will request sick leave from their immediate supervisor, designee, or other official in their supervisory chain prior to departing the worksite except when emergency care is necessary. The Employee will provide verification of emergency care whenever the Employee leaves the worksite without providing notice to the supervisor or supervisory chain.
