IDEA. The IDEA portion of the IDEA appropriation will be provided to the School.
IDEA. The School District/Charter School confirms the existence of policies and procedures regarding all aspects of the Uniform Grant Guidance (UGG), especially in the areas of conflict of interest, travel reimbursements, cash management, allow ability of costs and procurement. The School District/Charter School agrees that all procurement procedures reflect all Federal, State and Local procurement regulations and that sufficient documentation is maintained by the School District/Charter School to support all purchases made with these IDEA funds. Pursuant to 20 U.S.C. § 1413(g), the School District /Charter School hereby agrees and acknowledges, and shall have each subgrantee agree and acknowledge in its subaward agreement with the School District /Charter School that the PA Department of Education and/or the MCIU may at any time, and within its sole discretion, withhold or redirect any of the funding awarded hereunder in order for PDE and/or MCIU to fund any actual or anticipated special education or related services that PDE and/or MCIU determines are appropriate for any students of the School District /Charter School or subgrantee, including, without limitation, any entitlement to compensatory education ordered by a tribunal of competent jurisdiction or agreed to in any settlement agreement entered into by any subgrantee.
IDEA. The IDEA portion of the IDEA appropriation will remain with the Sponsor to provide training as required by IDEA guidelines. The School may participate in IDEA training offered by the Sponsor at no cost. The Sponsor agrees to timely notify the School of all dates and other information regarding reporting of student data, calendar of district in-service opportunities, and other dates and information pertinent to the School’s compliance with this Charter.
IDEA. The annual entitlement received by the Sponsor from the IDEA 3 will remain with the Sponsor to provide training and other program 4 resources as required by IDEA guidelines shared proportionally with the 5 School on the same basis as made available to other traditional and charter 6 schools in the District. The School may participate in discretionary IDEA 7 training offered by the Sponsor at no cost and shall participate in all 8 mandatory IDEA training offered by the Sponsor at no cost. The Sponsor 9 agrees to timely notify the School of all dates and other information 10 regarding reporting of student data, calendar of district in-service 11 opportunities, and other dates and information pertinent to the School’s 12 compliance with this Contract.
IDEA. Under the IDEA, the CDE monitors compliance with federal and state special education statutes and regulations with its Quality Assurance Process (QAP). That process is characterized by the gathering and evaluating of data in order to identify districts and areas within districts to aid in the inquiry, evaluation, and review of compliance issues. This enables the LEA and the CDE to develop corrective action plans, program improvement goals, and provide technical assistance to improve services to special education students throughout California.

IDEA. Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, is a federal law governing child find, evaluation, program development and educational placement of students that meet the criteria established for special education eligibility throughout the United States and US territories. IEP – Individualized Education Plan created after a student has been found eligible for special education services through a comprehensive special education evaluation. LEA – Local Education Agency (local school district) that is responsible for child find, evaluation, IEP development and placement implementing the educational program which addresses the student with disabilitieseducational needs. LIT – Local Interagency Team is an interagency forum made up of high level human services and education leaders, designed to assist in problem solving at the regional level regarding resource needs outlined in a coordinated services plan. The LIT tries to provide assistance in addressing the needs defined in the coordinated services plan. OVHA - Office of Vermont Health Access is the state office responsible for the management of Medicaid, the State Children's Health Insurance Program, and other publicly funded health insurance programs in Vermont. SEA – State Education Agency (Vermont Department of Education) SIT – State Interagency Team is an interagency forum designed to assist in problem solving at the state level. If a LIT is unable to resolve the problems or resource needs outlined in a coordinated services plan, the State Interagency Team attempts to provide assistance. This may include reviewing a plan and making recommendations on content; suggesting possible additional resources to help implement the plan; and/or recommending that an agency waive or modify a policy. State-Placed Students - Minor students who are placed outside of their home school district by a state agency or a licensed child placement agency, or students 18 and over whose residential costs are paid for by a state agency or child placement agency and who reside in a school district other than the district of the parents residence, or who are residing in a program for pregnant and parenting women are considered “state-placed”.
