ICD-9 Codes. Fresenius shall request and encourage ordering ----------- physicians and other persons authorized to order tests to submit diagnoses in ICD-9 code format. Fresenius shall ensure that when diagnoses received in non-ICD-9 format are translated into code format, such translations will be performed by persons with appropriate technical expertise.
