Common use of HOUSING ASSIGNMENT AND GRANT OF LICENSE FOR USE OF SPACE Clause in Contracts

HOUSING ASSIGNMENT AND GRANT OF LICENSE FOR USE OF SPACE. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ State University agrees to furnish Resident with housing space in accordance with the terms of this Contract. The parties to this Contract do not intend that an estate, a tenancy, or any interest in the property should pass to Resident from ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ State University to Resident; it is intended that a usufruct be granted to Resident. Instead, it is the intention of the parties that the relationship between ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ State University and Resident is one of licensor and licensee and that the sole right of Resident to use his/her assigned room as a living unit is based upon the license granted to Resident in this Contract.
