Common use of Holiday plan Clause in Contracts

Holiday plan. Subject to Section 10 of the Annual Leave Act and the current negotia- tion procedure for co-determination decisions and negotiations, a holi- day plan should be in place by 15 April. Unless otherwise agreed, holidays shall be scheduled so that the em- ployee has a period of leave lasting at least four weeks during the period June-August, unless special circumstances prevail. When holidays are scheduled, the wishes of the employee to schedule holidays in connection with a religious holiday shall be taken into con- sideration.
