Higher Classifications. Any employee required to fill the position of a higher classification calling for a higher rate of pay shall receive the higher rate immediately from the time he/she assumes the higher classification.

Higher Classifications. Where a client of the employer employs mechanical trade maintenance employees at the relevant client site, to perform the same work as employees covered by this agreement, and such client employees are classified at a higher classification than normal, the relevant employee of the employer shall be paid the same rate of pay as that equivalent client employee for the duration of the assignment at that client site. This clause shall not apply where an employee covered by this agreement is paid a higher rate of pay than the equivalent client employee. If an employee who is able to perform the farm out tasks has requested to be farmed out to the same job assignment, farm out assignments will be limited to thirty (30) days out of sixty (60) consecutive working days.
