High School Graduation. High school teachers are expected to attend the high school graduation and sit in a designated area, unless excused by the Superintendent for good reasons; provided graduation is not held during the Memorial Day weekend. High School Graduation. At high school graduation a place of prominence will be reserved for teachers. If a majority of the teachers in the building wish to attend, notification will be given forty-eight (48) hours prior to the graduation exercise of the number who will attend.
High School Graduation. Unit I educators who attend and assist with graduation exercises outside the established work week will receive one-half day of early release time. High School Graduation. The Board may require up to thirty-five (35) members of the high school staff to assist at high school graduation. These assignments shall be filled by posting for volunteers. In the event that there are more than thirty-five (35) volunteers, the High School Principal shall have the right, in his sole discretion, to select those individuals he wishes for the assignment. In the event that there are an insufficient number of volunteers to meet the need, the High School Principal shall have the right to designate individuals for this assignment. Individuals assisting at high school graduation shall be compensated at a rate of $100 for the event for the life of the contract.
High School Graduation. On the day of the graduation ceremony for each respective high school, a modified day shall be provided for all high school unit members. All high school unit members are required to return for the evening graduation ceremony to complete their workday.
