Hierarchic and Functional Escalation Clause Samples

The Hierarchic and Functional Escalation clause establishes a structured process for resolving disputes or issues by escalating them through predefined levels of authority or expertise within the involved organizations. Typically, if a problem cannot be resolved at the operational level, it is referred to progressively higher management or specialized departments, ensuring that more complex or unresolved matters receive appropriate attention. This clause ensures that issues are addressed efficiently and systematically, minimizing delays and reducing the risk of unresolved conflicts impacting the overall project or agreement.
Hierarchic and Functional Escalation. In Hierarchic Escalation, a ticket is passed from the current point of contact up the management chain to someone with greater authority. In Functional Escalation, the ticket is passed from the current point of contact to someone with greater technical expertise.
