Heritage Resources. Within 6 months after license issuance, the licensee shall complete a Heritage Properties 8Management Plan (HPMP) for FS approval. The HPMP will be incorporated into the Programmatic Agreement (PA) by reference. The HPMP will take into account Project effects on prehistoric and historic resources, Native American traditional cultural values, direct and 10indirect effects to heritage resources within the area of potential effect, ethnographic studies, historic archaeological studies, and Project-related recreation impacts to archaeological 11properties affecting National Forest System lands. The HPMP shall also provide measures to mitigate the identified impacts, a monitoring program, and management protocols for the 12ongoing protection of archaeological properties. The plan shall be filed with FERC. The 13licensee shall implement the plan upon approval.
