Common use of Heavy Lifting Clause in Contracts

Heavy Lifting. One ($1.00) dollar per hour premium will be paid to operators of cranes from 225-300 tons. An additional ten ($0.10) cents per hour will be paid to the operator for every 50 tons thereafter (.ie. 450 ton crane + $1.30 premium).
