Common use of Heating System Clause in Contracts

Heating System. What is a Covered Repair? Repair or replacement of the following for which You have sole responsibility, that is damaged due to normal wear and tear: • The broken or failed air scoops, air vents (#400), appliance regulators, aquastats, atmospheric burners and parts, balancing valves, blower motors, blow down valves, circuit boards, circulator couplings, circulator motors, circulator pumps, draft diverters, draft inducers and motors, electronic ignitions, expansion tank draining (if needed), fan-assisted internal motors, fan belts/controls/relays, gas valves, gauge glass, heating fuses, hot surface ignitors, low water cut-offs, pigtails, pilot assemblies, pilot generators, pilot safeties, pilot tubing, pressure switches, pressuretrols, relays, standard limit controls, switches, T and P relief valves, thermocouples, standard thermostats, transformers, and zone valve heads, that are part of Your Home’s natural gas Heating System. What is the maximum amount We will pay for Covered Repairs? • There is no maximum benefit limit (“Benefit Limit”). • Multiple Service Calls. See “What is a Service Call?” below. What will happen if We cannot repair Your Heating System? • If parts are unavailable or obsolete or We deem Your Heating System beyond repair, We will provide a pro-rata refund, less any claims paid by Us.
