Hearing Prerequisite Sample Clauses
Hearing Prerequisite. All grievances shall be personally presented in conformance with the procedure outlined in 3(a) above a condition before a hearing can be granted. If the complainant can show good cause to the hearing officer or hearing panel why he or she failed to proceed according to the requirements for the informal discussion, the requirements for the informal discussion may be waived by that hearing officer or hearing panel.
Hearing Prerequisite. All grievances shall be personally presented either orally or in writing pursuant to the informal procedure prescribed in Section 5 as a condition precedent to a hearing under this section, provided, that if the complainant shall show good cause why he failed to proceed in accordance with Section 5 to the hearing officer, the provisions of this subsection may be waived by the hearing officer.
