Health Benefit Coverage for Permanent Intermittent and Temporary Employees. To access County health coverage, permanent intermittent and temporary employees represented by the Association must be eligible to receive an offer of coverage from the County under the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (“ACA”) (42 U.S.C. § 18081). Employees eligible to receive an offer of coverage (and qualified dependents), will be offered access to the County’s lowest cost, single individual health insurance plan as determined by the County. Employees will be responsible for the full premium cost of coverage. This provision is not subject to the grievance process.
