Head Teacher. A teacher who acts under the authority of the principal in a building at the disposal of a school to exercise the duties determined by the board in the case where the school has more than one building at its disposal.
Head Teacher i. Time to fulfill responsibilities and perform specific duties shall be allotted at a minimum of 4 hours per week.
Head Teacher. 1. In the event that the Board creates a position which is included in the bargaining unit as defined in Article A.2 (Recognition of the Union) of this Agreement, the Board shall negotiate with the ADTU, the appropriate remuneration.
Head Teacher. The Board shall establish a “Head Teacher” position to serve in the absence of the principal and superintendent. The Head Teacher will be reimbursed at the rate of $50.00 and the District will employ a substitute to serve in the absence of the assigned Head Teacher when administrative services are required due to the absence of the principal and the superintendent. When the principal and the superintendent are absent less than half (1/2) day, the payment to the Head Teacher shall be at a rate of $25.00.
Head Teacher. 1. Head Teachers shall be appointed to worksites which are under the jurisdiction of a Principal responsible for more than one worksite.
Head Teacher. (a) A Teacher shall be designated, for the full school year, to be in charge of the school while the Principal is absent from the school. The Duties of the Head Teacher shall be determined by the Board and shared in writing with the Teacher prior to his/her accepting the role.
Head Teacher. In the absence of Administration for an entire day or when the Superintendent deems it necessary for the smooth operation of the school day, a Head Teacher shall be provided to handle discipline procedures. The Head Teacher shall have the right to discipline a student based on the guidelines set forth by the administration. Head Teacher will be selected by administration from applicants at the start of the school year. When the Head Teacher is needed in lieu of the administration, he/she will be provided a substitute teacher and a stipend will be paid in the amount of $50.00 per day.
Head Teacher. The head teacher shall be compensated one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500) per school year for services rendered during the normal workday. If an administrator requests that the head teacher accepts additional responsibilities after the normal workday, he/she will be compensated in addition to their stipend at the hourly rate of twenty dollars ($20.00) per hour.
Head Teacher. Xxxxxx Xxxxxxxx is a qualified and certificated early childhood teacher who is directly responsible for staff, whether within a single location or a location separate from their Senior Teacher/Xxxxxxx, and who has delegated responsibilities from their Senior Teacher/Xxxxxxx . Not all centres/services will employ a Head Teacher/Xxxxxx Xxxxxxxx.
Head Teacher. If a head teacher is designated by a building Principal, the head teacher will be paid a yearly stipend as follows: 3% (of base) Such designation shall occur by September 10 of any school year. It is understood the Principal may approve that such position may be shared by two teachers who shall receive a proportional share of the stipend.
