Head Start Division. 15.1 Temporary Layoffs of Head Start Employees a. Whenever temporary layoffs become necessary, the Agency will consider those employees in the affected classification(s) who volunteer for layoff first. Volunteers may be laid off beginning with the employee(s) with the most classification seniority. If there are no volunteers, temporary layoffs shall be made in reverse classification seniority order within the Division with the least senior employee in each classification being laid off first and reemployed last. The temporary layoff period for Head Start programs or sites shall be considered to have the same effective date when the actual layoff dates or recall dates occur within a thirty (30) day period. b. When the Agency elects to increase the length of service provided, affected positions shall be filled by classification seniority. c. The appointing authority will give employees a proposed notice of forty-five (45) calendar days notice and a minimum of fourteen (14) calendar days advance final legal notice of layoff in writing. This notice shall also include the projected date of reemployment. d. An employee on layoff who does not respond to reemployment either by reporting to work as directed or requesting and being granted a different reporting date shall be deemed to have resigned his/her position. e. If a Head Start employee is laid off for one month or less the Agency will continue the insurance contribution through the layoff period. The employee is responsible to pay the employee share of cost for their insurance coverage.
Head Start Division. (i) Exhibit H to this Interim Agreement is titled Options for Learning Head Start Division Job Titles and Hourly Wage Rates 2022-2023 Reopener. It contains the hourly wage rates for the job titles of the bargaining unit positions in the Head Start Division. Exhibit H is incorporated into Appendix A of the Labor Agreement and replaces the current wage rates and job titles for the Head Start Division. (ii) The hourly rates in Exhibit H reflect a 5% COLA. (iii) Subject to the conditions in section D, subsections 1 and 2 below of this Interim Agreement, and to the extent authorized by law and the rules of the funding agency, the Head Start COLAs for the Head Start Division bargaining unit employees in the job titles outlined in Exhibit H to this Interim Agreement will be retroactive to: (i) December 1, 2021, if the Parties execute this Interim Agreement by November 30, 2022, or (ii) December 1, 2022, if the Parties execute this Interim Agreement on or after December 1, 2022, but by November 30, 2023.

  • Synchronization, Commissioning and Commercial Operation 5.1.1 The SPG shall give PGVCL at least thirty (30) days’ advanced preliminary written notice and at least fifteen (15) days’ advanced final written notice, of the date on which it intends to synchronize the Solar Power Project to the Grid System. 5.1.2 Subject to Article 5.1.1, the Power Project may be synchronized by the SPG to the Grid System when it meets all the connection conditions prescribed in applicable Grid Code then in effect and otherwise meets all other Indian legal requirements for synchronization to the Grid System. 5.1.3 The synchronization equipment and all necessary arrangements / equipment including RTU for scheduling of power generated from the Project and transmission of data to the concerned authority as per applicable regulation shall be installed by the SPG at its generation facility of the Power Project at its own cost. The SPG shall synchronize its system with the Grid System only after the approval of synchronization scheme is granted by the head of the concerned substation/ and checking/verification is made by the concerned authorities of the PGVCL. 5.1.4 The SPG shall immediately after each synchronization/tripping of generator, inform the sub-station of the Grid System to which the Power Project is electrically connected in accordance with applicable Grid Code. In addition, the SPG will inject in-firm power to grid from time to time to carry out operational/ functional test prior to commercial operation. For avoidance of doubt, it is clarified that Synchronization / Connectivity of the Project with the grid shall not to be considered as Commissioning of the Project. 5.1.5 The SPG shall commission the Project within nine (9) Months from the Date of execution of this PPA. Declaration of COD shall be certified by the commissioning committee. 5.1.6 The Parties agree that for the purpose of commencement of the supply of electricity by SPG to PGVCL, liquidated damages for delay etc., the Scheduled Commissioning Date as defined in this Agreement shall be the relevant date.

  • Professional Development and Training The Company shall pay for or reimburse the Executive for any reasonable professional development or training.

  • Professional Development Program (a) The parties agree to continue a Professional Development Program for the maintenance and development of the faculty members' professional competence and effectiveness. It is agreed that maintenance of currency of subject knowledge, the improvement of performance of faculty duties, and the maintenance and improvement of professional competence, including instructional skills, are the primary professional development activities of faculty members. (b) Information collected as part of this program shall be the sole property of the faculty member. This information or any judgments arising from this program shall not be used to determine non-renewal or termination of a faculty member's contract, suspension or dismissal of a faculty member, denial of advancement on the salary scale, nor affect any other administrative decisions pertaining to the promotion or employment status of the faculty member. (c) A joint advisory committee consisting of three regular faculty members who shall be elected by and are P.D. Committee Chairpersons and three administrators shall make recommendations for the operation, financing and management of the Professional Development Program.
