HAZOP Study Sample Clauses

A HAZOP Study clause requires the parties to conduct a Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) analysis to systematically identify and assess potential hazards and operational issues in a process or facility. Typically, this involves assembling a multidisciplinary team to review process diagrams, procedures, and equipment, using structured techniques to pinpoint risks and recommend safety improvements. The core function of this clause is to ensure that safety and operational risks are proactively identified and mitigated, thereby reducing the likelihood of accidents and ensuring regulatory compliance.
