Half Holiday Clause Samples
The Half Holiday clause establishes an employee's entitlement to a partial day off from work, typically amounting to half of a standard working day. In practice, this clause may specify which days or occasions qualify for a half holiday, such as the afternoon before a public holiday or a designated weekday, and outline whether pay is affected or if work hours are adjusted accordingly. Its core function is to provide employees with additional rest or personal time, promoting work-life balance and accommodating cultural or organizational practices.
