CLASSIFICATIONS AND WAGES 1.1 a) Engineers operating: cranes with a manufacturer’s rating of over 164 to 219 tons capacity. Effective May 1, 2013, the wage rate for engineers operating large cranes 220 to 299 tons capacity shall be One Dollar and Twenty-Five Cents ($1.25) per hour above the applicable rate. The wage rate for engineers operating large cranes 300 to 499 tons capacity shall be Two Dollars and Fifty Cents ($2.50) per hour above the applicable rate. Chair and Vice Chair The Council shall appoint from amongst its members a Chair and Vice Chair who shall retire in the same manner as provided for members in Clause 5. The Chair shall be held in alternate years by a member of the Employers' Side and a member of the Trade Union Side. In the absence of the Chair, the Vice Chair shall preside at the meetings of the Council. If neither the Chair nor the Vice Chair is present, a Chair shall be elected for the meeting. The Chair shall have a vote, but not a casting vote. The Chair and Vice Chair shall be ex officio members of any committees.
Weighing and Scaling Costs Purchaser agrees to pay for all weighing costs for logs delivered regardless if logs are purchased on a weight or scale basis. In addition, Purchaser agrees to pay for all scaling costs for logs delivered on a scale basis. Purchaser also agrees to pay for all costs associated with the transmission and reporting of scale or weight data.
