Guest Network Clause Samples

The Guest Network clause defines the terms and conditions under which guests may access a separate network provided by the host organization. Typically, this clause outlines the permitted uses, security restrictions, and any limitations on bandwidth or access to internal resources for users connecting as guests. By establishing clear guidelines for guest network usage, the clause helps protect the primary network from unauthorized access and potential security threats, while still allowing visitors to access the internet or other designated services.
Guest Network. The Guest Network is designed to provide internet connectivity to your guests via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi but restricts access to your primary network and shared files. The primary network and the guest network are separated from each other through firewalls.
Guest Network. The Brunswick County Public Schools Guest Network refers to any "device" that is privately owned by a user that is connected to our network. Examples include: laptop, Chromebook, tablet, notebook, e-Reader, iPod touch (or similar), or cell/smart phone. The term "device" also includes any similar product owned by Brunswick County Public Schools (Brunswick County Public Schools) that is provided for student or employee use. Content filtering is a requirement of all schools/offices and users. The Children’s Internet Protection Act (CIPA) requires all network access to be filtered; therefore, any device using the guest network may be monitored through IP address and will be filtered.
