Groundman. A groundman is an employee who is hired and his major portion of the work is to service the journeyman, apprentice and Probationary Employees. 6.06:1 A groundman shall not perform any work that is covered under the Journeyman, Apprentice or Probationary worker classifications until such time a change in classification to apprentice has been mutually agreed to and made by the Union, worker and employer. 6.06:2 A groundman shall have three levels of qualifications: a) first year of employment b) second year of employment c) third year of employment END OF RESTORATION STEEPLEJACKS CLASSIFICATION SECTION
