Gratuitous Time-Off Sample Clauses
The Gratuitous Time-Off clause allows employees to take time off from work without the requirement of using accrued paid leave or receiving additional compensation. Typically, this clause applies to situations where an employer permits unpaid leave for personal reasons, such as family emergencies or extended travel, beyond standard vacation or sick leave policies. Its core function is to provide flexibility for employees to address personal needs without financial obligation from the employer, while also clarifying the terms under which such leave may be granted.
