Grandfathered Experience Clause Samples
The Grandfathered Experience clause defines how prior experience or qualifications obtained before a certain date or under previous rules are recognized under a new agreement or regulatory framework. Typically, this clause allows individuals or entities to retain benefits, rights, or status based on their historical experience, even if new standards or requirements have since been introduced. For example, a professional who met licensing requirements under old regulations may continue to practice without meeting new, stricter criteria. The core function of this clause is to ensure a smooth transition and fairness by protecting established interests from being adversely affected by changes in rules or policies.
