Common use of Government Compliance Clause in Contracts

Government Compliance. Vendor agrees to comply with all present federal, state and local laws, orders, rules, regulations, codes and ordinances which may be applicable to Vendor’s performance of its obligations under this Contract, and all provisions required thereby to be included herein, are hereby incorporated by reference. Vendor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Contracting Party from and against any loss, damage, liability, cost or expense (including, without limitation, attorneys’ fees) resulting from any violation of such laws, orders, rules, regulations, codes or ordinances by Vendor.
