GEOGRAPHICAL RELOCATION. The Agency shall not permanently move an employee and the position he/she occupies to a different geographic area on an arbitrary basis. The definition of geographic area shall be the same as that defined in Article 19 (Layoff).

GEOGRAPHICAL RELOCATION. (1) In the event of the geographical relocation, in whole or in part, of any of the work performed by employees covered by this Agreement, the employees whose work is affected will be advised of the current corrected listing of employees in seniority order by seniority grouping in each classification at the new location and shall be given an opportunity to transfer to the new location at Company expense in accordance with paragraph (2) below, and given full credit for their accumulated seniority at the point to which the work is transferred in whole or in part. It is understood that the increase or expansion of facilities at a particular point that does not involve a reduction in jobs or facilities at another point shall not be construed as a geographical relocation of work in whole or in part. The employees whose work is affected shall be offered the opportunity to transfer in seniority order, with the most senior employee having first choice.

The Adult Extension category is defined in Ohio’s Medicaid State Plan as authorized by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The MCP shall serve all counties in any region they agree to serve.
