GENERIC SUBSTITUTIONS. If neither the prescription nor applicable Laws and Regulations prohibit substitution of a Generic drug equivalent for the prescribed Prescription Drug, and, when and if required by applicable Laws and Regulations, the Network Pharmacy obtains consent from the Member and the Member’s physician, if applicable, then Administrator shall require each Network Pharmacy to dispense the Generic drug substitute to the Member, pursuant to the terms of the Network Pharmacy Agreement, unless otherwise agreed to by United.
