Common use of General Functions Clause in Contracts

General Functions. (a.) The Independent Consultant shall certify the occurrence of any such Force Majeure Event; however, the same would be subject to verification by the Authority. (b.) Perform such functions as may be provided in the Agreement or authorized by Authority during the contract period from time to time. (c.) To seek explanations from the Operator for delays or non-compliance with the quality control parameters; (d.) To notify competent authority of delays and non-compliances and the explanations relating thereto for any remedial measures to be taken in this behalf. For the avoidance of doubt, unless otherwise specified in this Agreement or its Schedules, the Independent Consultant shall within a period of not more than 15 (Fifteen) days submit his comments / recommendations with the Authority as well as the Operator, on the submissions made by the Operator.
