General Directions. A. Damage to Persons and Property 1. Any damage to buildings, roads, public roads, bituminous concrete areas, fences, lawn areas, trees, shrubbery, electric or telephone poles, underground utilities, etc., shall be repaired by the Contractor at his own expense. Damaged property shall be returned to its original condition prior to the damages within a reasonable time period, except all utility outages shall be repaired immediately.

Protection of Persons and Property The Contractor shall, at all times, leave an unobstructed way along the roadways and walks, and shall maintain barriers and lights for the protection of all persons and property in all locations where he has materials stored or work going on, and during the entire time such work is going on or material is stored.
