Functions and Responsibilities. The JATC shall have the following functions and responsibilities: 1. To meet on call, but not fewer than every six (6) months; and to record and maintain the minutes of each meeting. Upon mutual agreement of the University and the Union, there may be additional meetings of the JATC. 2. To ensure an efficient program of apprenticeship through systematic on-the-job training with related and supplemental instructions. 3. To monitor and supervise the administration and the enforcement of these standards. 4. To establish and accurately maintain adequate apprenticeship and training records, including hours of work experience and attendance at related training classes. 5. To review the periodic evaluations and recommendations provided by University supervisors and classroom instructors for the following purposes, among others:
