From Department Clause Samples

The "From Department" clause identifies the specific department within an organization that is responsible for initiating or managing a particular action, transaction, or communication under the agreement. In practice, this clause clarifies which department—such as Human Resources, Finance, or Procurement—is the point of contact or authority for the relevant matter. By specifying departmental responsibility, the clause ensures clear lines of accountability and helps prevent confusion or miscommunication regarding which part of the organization is involved in fulfilling the agreement's obligations.
