Common use of Fringes Clause in Contracts

Fringes. Fringe benefit credit for labor provided under Section 7.7.2.2 is only allowable for prevailing wage fringe benefits pursuant to ORC Chapter 4115, including, but not limited to, Health and Welfare, vacation, apprenticeship training, and certain types of pension plans. The parties shall defer to the Ohio Department of Commerce’s policy on which benefits are granted fringe benefit credit. Each fringe benefit for which credit is requested shall be calculated on an hourly basis and listed as a separate line item. The Contractor shall submit documentation supporting the calculation of the amounts for each fringe benefit for each worker classification, including labor provided by Subcontractors.
