Frequency regulation Sample Clauses

Frequency regulation. The Power Plant shall participate in the frequency regulation of the power system in accordance with the requirements set out in the dispatching administration regulations of power system. The AGC setting parameters and the response speed of the unit’s capacity shall meet the requirements for safe grid operation, and shall be set by the Dispatching Agency according to the unit’s properties, testing results and the relevant requirements. Once set, Party B must not change them without authorization. The entry or exit of the AGC of the unit shall follow the dispatching instructions.

Frequency regulation. Seller shall provide a droop response consistent with the droop response of the system as determined by Company (typically 4% or 5% droop) in the event of a system overfrequency disturbance. The droop characteristic will be verified during the testing of the Facility and based on the type of generation being proposed. The Facility shall have the capability to set droop response as specified by the Company.
Frequency regulation. The term fre- quency regulation as used in this part will mean the capability to inject or withdraw real power by resources capa- ble of responding appropriately to a system operator’s automatic genera- tion control signal in order to correct
Frequency regulation. The Contractor shall guarantee the maximum transient frequency change which will result from an instantaneous change of 50kW load in any initially steady isolated load having a self-regulation coefficient of 1.0, being supplied by one turbine, or both with the permanent speed drop of 3 percent. The Bidder shall submit calculation to justify the regulation.
Frequency regulation. The Power Plant shall participate in the frequency regulation of the power system in accordance with the requirements set out in the Yunnan Grid Dispatching Administration Regulations. The setting parameters and the response speed of the unit’s capacity shall meet the requirements for safe grid operation, and shall be set by the Dispatching Agency according to the unit’s properties and testing results. Once set, Party B must not change them without authorization. The entry or exit of the AGC of the unit shall follow the dispatching instructions.

  • Primary Frequency Response Developer shall ensure the primary frequency response capability of its Large Generating Facility by installing, maintaining, and operating a functioning governor or equivalent controls. The term “functioning governor or equivalent controls” as used herein shall mean the required hardware and/or software that provides frequency responsive real power control with the ability to sense changes in system frequency and autonomously adjust the Large Generating Facility’s real power output in accordance with the droop and deadband parameters and in the direction needed to correct frequency deviations. Developer is required to install a governor or equivalent controls with the capability of operating: (1) with a maximum 5 percent droop ± 0.036 Hz deadband; or (2) in accordance with the relevant droop, deadband, and timely and sustained response settings from an approved Applicable Reliability Standard providing for equivalent or more stringent parameters. The droop characteristic shall be: (1) based on the nameplate capacity of the Large Generating Facility, and shall be linear in the range of frequencies between 59 and 61 Hz that are outside of the deadband parameter; or (2) based on an approved Applicable Reliability Standard providing for an equivalent or more stringent parameter. The deadband parameter shall be: the range of frequencies above and below nominal (60 Hz) in which the governor or equivalent controls is not expected to adjust the Large Generating Facility’s real power output in response to frequency deviations. The deadband shall be implemented: (1) without a step to the droop curve, that is, once the frequency deviation exceeds the deadband parameter, the expected change in the Large Generating Facility’s real power output in response to frequency deviations shall start from zero and then increase (for under-frequency deviations) or decrease (for over-frequency deviations) linearly in proportion to the magnitude of the frequency deviation; or (2) in accordance with an approved Applicable Reliability Standard providing for an equivalent or more stringent parameter. Developer shall notify NYISO that the primary frequency response capability of the Large Generating Facility has been tested and confirmed during commissioning. Once Developer has synchronized the Large Generating Facility with the New York State Transmission System, Developer shall operate the Large Generating Facility consistent with the provisions specified in Articles 9.5.5.1 and 9.5.5.2 of this Agreement. The primary frequency response requirements contained herein shall apply to both synchronous and non-synchronous Large Generating Facilities.

  • SAFETY REGULATIONS Equipment shall meet all State and Federal safety regulations.

  • Regulation M Compliance The Company has not, and to its knowledge no one acting on its behalf has, (i) taken, directly or indirectly, any action designed to cause or to result in the stabilization or manipulation of the price of any security of the Company to facilitate the sale or resale of any of the Securities, (ii) sold, bid for, purchased, or, paid any compensation for soliciting purchases of, any of the Securities, or (iii) paid or agreed to pay to any Person any compensation for soliciting another to purchase any other securities of the Company, other than, in the case of clauses (ii) and (iii), compensation paid to the Company’s placement agent in connection with the placement of the Securities.

  • Tax Shelter Regulations The Borrower does not intend to treat the Loans and/or Letters of Credit and related transactions as being a “reportable transaction” (within the meaning of Treasury Regulation Section 1.6011-4). In the event the Borrower determines to take any action inconsistent with such intention, it will promptly notify the Administrative Agent thereof. If the Borrower so notifies the Administrative Agent, the Borrower acknowledges that one or more of the Lenders may treat its Loans and/or its interest in Swing Line Loans and/or Letters of Credit as part of a transaction that is subject to Treasury Regulation Section 301.6112-1, and such Lender or Lenders, as applicable, will maintain the lists and other records required by such Treasury Regulation.
