Common use of Forwarding Address Clause in Contracts

Forwarding Address. Tenant shall provide Landlord written notice prior to vacating the Dwelling Unit of the forwarding address so that Landlord can forward to Tenant a statement explaining the disposition of the Security Deposit to the end of the 45-day period provided herein. If Tenant fails to give notice of a forwarding address, Landlord will send the Security Deposit statement to the last known address of Tenant, but will retain the Security Deposit refund, if any until Tenant notifies Landlord of the appropriate address.
