For returning students. 1. If written notification of the student’s desire to cancel is received on or before five business days after receipt of the contract in the Office of Residence Life, the contract will be canceled. 2. When written notification of the student’s desire to cancel the contract is received after five business days following receipt of the contract in the Office of Residence Life: a. The student who signs the contract will be held responsible for fulfilling the contract, except for circumstances which are deemed exceptional and unforeseeable, as determined by the director of residence life or her/his designee. If a cancellation request is approved for such circumstances, a student is eligible for an adjustment as outlined in Section 4. b.
