The 'Floor Slabs' clause defines the requirements and standards for the construction and installation of floor slabs within a building project. Floor Slabs. Structural floor slabs shall be depicted with all necessary recesses, curbs, pads, closure pours, and major penetrations accurately depicted. Major penetrations shall include A/C duct chases and pipes larger than 6” dia. only.

b. Floor slabs shall be on grade with 5" thick 4,000 p.s.i. reinforced concrete. Reinforcing shall be #3s on 15" centers at approximately 2" from top of slab as required by the engineer. Placement of concrete shall utilize a vibrating screed.

Floor Slabs. Tenant will be responsible for any alterations to the existing floor slabs.
Floor Slabs. The main floor will consist of an unreinforced slab on grade on a 6 inch granular base capable of supporting a load of 250 lbs. per square foot. The floor surface shall be trowelled finish. The second floor shall be a mesh reinforced concrete topping on steel decking capable of supporting a live load of 100 lbs. per square foot, with concrete added to reduce vibration.
