Common use of Floodplain Clause in Contracts

Floodplain. Any disturbance within a 100-year floodplain will be allowed if the Operator has obtained a Floodplain Development Permit from the County and has complied with all of the County’s legally adopted floodplain and engineering regulations. Pits will not be allowed in 100-year floodplain. A “100-year floodplain” shall be, for purposes of this Section, a “Special Flood Hazard Area” as identified and mapped by the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s National Flood Insurance Program and adopted by the County.
