Flood Control Structures (Infrastructure and Non-Residential Structures). Subrecipients that use CDBG-DR funds to assist flood control structures (i.e., dams and levees) are prohibited from using CDBG-DR funds to enlarge a dam or levee beyond the original footprint of the structure that existed before the disaster event, without obtaining approval from the County, HUD, and any Federal agencies that HUD determines are necessary based on their involvement or potential involvement with the levee or dam.
