The flexible working hours system clause establishes the framework by which employees can vary their start and end times within agreed parameters, rather than adhering to a strict, fixed schedule. Typically, this system allows staff to choose their working hours within a set range, provided they complete the required number of hours per day or week; for example, employees might be able to arrive anytime between 7:00 and 10:00 AM and leave accordingly. Flexible working hours system. In case of a reference period less than or equal to 1 month, the following will also be considered as overtime within the meaning of articles "L. 211-18" 1 et seq. of the Luxembourg Labour Code: • additional hours that exceed the number of hours carried forward to the reference period; • hours already carried forward once.
