Flex Tours. 12.1 The Employer may consider employee’s request for or offer a flexible work schedule outside the provisions of Section 2 of this Article when consistent with the operation of the department and shall occur in the Fall, Spring, and Summer sessions. 12.2 The University shall not unreasonably deny or rescind an employee’s requested flextime. If there are multiple conflicting requests for flextime, then departmental seniority as defined in Article 6 shall be the determining factor as to which employee or employees shall be granted or maintained on their requested flextime. 12.3 The basis of denial for flextime requested by the employee will be shared with him/her in writing when he/she asks for the reason to be provided.
