Fleet Maintenance. The normal workweek for Fleet Maintenance Employees shall consist of four (4) consecutive days of ten (10) hours each. At the discretion of Management, the Authority may implement an alternate work schedule of five (5) consecutive days of eight (8) hours each.
Fleet Maintenance. An overtime assignment of four (4) hours or less will be offered to qualified Fleet Maintenance employees who are working the shift preceding or succeeding the shift where the work is to be performed. Overtime assignments of four (4) or more hours will be posted to all qualified Fleet Maintenance employees. Fleet Maintenance employees desiring to work overtime shall indicate that desire by placing their name in the correct slot on the Overtime Sign-Up Form provided by the Authority. If the number of Fleet Maintenance employees desiring to work overtime exceeds the number of available overtime shifts on any particular day or shift then the overtime will be awarded to the Fleet Maintenance employee’s based upon department division seniority. Should no Fleet Maintenance employee(s) accept the overtime assignment the overtime will be assigned by inverse seniority. If the least senior Fleet Maintenance employee is not qualified or reasonably available, the overtime may be assigned to the next least senior Fleet Maintenance employee.
Fleet Maintenance. The most senior Fleet Maintenance employee, based upon department division seniority, shall have the right to the first bid; the second most senior Fleet Maintenance employee shall bid next and this process shall continue until all Fleet Maintenance employees have bid on a shift. Department division seniority shall be the governing factor in all job/shift bidding.
Fleet Maintenance. The City will provide fleet maintenance and repair for Parks and charge for services in a manner consistent with City Departments. Fleet operations overhead will be allocated to Parks in a prorated share based upon number and type of vehicles/equipment to be maintained and shared benefit of the Division. City will accept Parks employees dedicated to their shop program. City will maintain transferred positions for at least one year and employ transferred employees for as long as it is feasible based upon operations, budget and performance.

STA maintains vehicles and equipment according to the company and manufacturer-directed standards: • To conform with the manufacturer’s suggested maintenance intervals, or such revised intervals as may be dictated by unusual operating conditions (for example: unusually low mileage, dusty operating conditions, extreme hot or cold weather, etc.). • In strict conformity with the commercial vehicle or school bus inspection laws of the particular state in which the equipment is being operated. • In such a way, at all times, protect the equipment investment. This requires prompt response to ensure that repairs are done at the point where they will require the lease expenditure. Examples of this may include: • Repairing an engine miss promptly to avoid a dropped valve, or severely scorched cylinder wall • Routine oil sampling of diesel engines to avoid catastrophic failures • Replacing kingpins promptly to avoid expensive machine work to resize the axle • Keeping cowls and bodies well-attached to avoid expensive damage at the cowl/body joint • Keeping the lowest-cost parts and other materials consistent with reasonable quality standards. • Using a comprehensive vehicle records system to ensure that critical equipment issues are planned for. Examples of this may include: • Ensuring thorough record-keeping and projection that the maintenance budgets are continually adjusted to effect upcoming repair trends (for example: brake drums, engines, etc.) • Identifying and responding to trends which affect vehicle reliability SCHEDULED INSPECTION INTERVALS A...

  • System Maintenance The Trust understands that USBFS will perform periodic maintenance to the System(s), which may cause temporary service interruptions. To the extent possible, USBFS shall notify the Trust of all planned outages and will perform any necessary maintenance during non-business hours.

  • Routine Maintenance (i) CRC shall be responsible for Routine Maintenance when necessary or desirable to maintain the Shared Assets in a safe operating condition, and to permit and facilitate (A) the performance by CRC of its obligations pursuant to this Agreement, and (B) the use of Shared Assets by the Operators in accordance with this Agreement.

  • Equipment Maintenance If this Contract involves computer or telecommunications hardware or other mechanical or electrical Equipment (use of the word "Equipment" means all the foregoing) as a Deliverable, then, during the warranty period and during any period covered by annual maintenance, the Contractor will provide Equipment maintenance to keep the Equipment in or restore the Equipment to good working order. This maintenance will include preventative and remedial maintenance, installation of safety changes, and installation of engineering changes based upon the specific needs of the individual item of Equipment. This maintenance will also include the repair, replacement, or exchange deemed necessary to keep the Equipment in good working order. For purposes of this Contract, Equipment restored to good working condition means Equipment that performs in accordance with the manufacturer's published specifications. The Contractor will exert its best efforts to perform all fault isolation and problem determination attributed to the Equipment covered under this Contract. The following services are outside the scope of this Contract:

  • Vehicle Maintenance (a) The Company agrees to maintain all vehicles up to standards which will insure that the employees who operate such vehicles are not exposed to such hazards as arise out of lack of proper maintenance. Each employee who operates a Company vehicle bears the direct responsibility for its safe and proper operation. Each such employee is also responsible for reporting any malfunction of equipment, mechanical defect, and any accident involving the vehicle.

  • Aircraft Maintenance Operator shall, at its own expense, cause the Aircraft to be inspected, maintained, serviced, repaired, overhauled, and tested in accordance with FAR Part 91 so that the Aircraft will remain in good operating condition and in a condition consistent with its airworthiness certification and shall take such requirements into account in scheduling the Aircraft hereunder, including but not limited compliance with applicable airworthiness directives and service bulletins. Performance of maintenance, preventive maintenance or inspection shall not be delayed or postponed for the purpose of scheduling the Aircraft unless such maintenance or inspection can safely be conducted at a later time in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and requirements, and such delay or postponement is consistent with the sound discretion of the pilot-in-command. In the event that any non-standard maintenance is required during the term and will interfere with User’s requested or scheduled flights, Operator, or Operator’s pilot-in-command, shall notify User of the maintenance required, the effect on the ability to comply with User’s requested or scheduled flights and the manner in which the parties will proceed with the performance of such maintenance and conduct of such flight(s). In no event shall Operator be liable to User or any other person for loss, injury or damage occasioned by the delay or failure to furnish the Aircraft under this Agreement, whether or not maintenance-related.

  • Road Maintenance Purchaser shall maintain roads, commensurate with Purchaser’s use, in accor- dance with Road Maintenance Requirements in C5.31 and the Road Maintenance Specifications. Performance of road maintenance work by Purchaser may be required prior to, during, or after each period of use. The timing of work accomplishment shall be based on Purchaser’s Op- erating Schedule under B6.31. When two or more commercial users are simultane- ously using the same road where Forest Service is not requiring maintenance deposits, the commercial users will develop maintenance responsibilities and arrangements for accomplishing the work. Forest Service must agree to this plan. If the commercial users cannot agree on main- tenance responsibilities, Forest Service shall resolve the differences. If Purchaser elects to use different roads than those listed in C5.31, Forest Service shall determine Pur- chaser’s commensurate share of road maintenance and revise road maintenance deposits in C5.32. If Forest Service cannot perform its full commensu- rate share of road maintenance, Forest Service shall make a cash payment to Purchaser for performance of such work. Unless agreed in writing, prehaul maintenance shall be completed on any portion of road prior to hauling on that portion. Maintenance, as used in this contract, does not include road reconstruction or repairs of an extraordi- nary nature.

  • Project Maintenance The Local Government shall be responsible for maintenance of locally owned roads and locally owned facilities after completion of the work. The State shall be responsible for maintenance of the state highway system after completion of the work if the work was on the state highway system, unless otherwise provided for in existing maintenance agreements with the Local Government.

  • Property Maintenance Maintain all of its property that is necessary to or useful in the proper conduct of its business in good working condition, ordinary wear and tear excepted.

  • Planned Maintenance (a) Sellers may designate up to twenty (20) Days of Planned Maintenance on Sellers’ Facilities during each Contract Year. Sellers shall be entitled to reduce (including down to zero (0)) its Gas scheduling under Clause 8 and Exhibit 3 for each Day of Planned Maintenance.
