Common use of First Source Hiring Program Clause in Contracts

First Source Hiring Program. (FSHP) If the contract is for more than $50,000, the successful bidder will be required to agree to comply fully with and be bound by the provisions of the First Source Hiring Program ordinance, as set forth in San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 83. Generally, this ordinance requires contractors to notify the First Source Hiring program of available entry level jobs and provide the Workforce Development System with the first opportunity to refer qualified individuals for employment.
