Common use of Fire Watch Clause in Contracts

Fire Watch. At any time Hot Work is performed, Supplier shall furnish, at Supplier’s expense, a fire watch in all areas in which Hot Work is performed, and in adjacent spaces, for a period of time beginning with the commencement of the Hot Work and ending no less than one (1) hour after the completion of the Hot Work. Supplier must also continue routine inspections, to occur no less than hourly, for three (3) hours following the conclusion of the fire watch. Any employee or contractor of Supplier performing a fire watch may have no other duties, responsibilities, or assignments during the time of the fire watch or subsequent routine inspections.
