Fire Hydrants. a) Fire hydrant shall be cast iron stand post type with 63mm diameter instantaneous gunmetal outlets conforming to I.S. 908 b) Each fire hydrant shall be provided with an 80 mm cast iron sluice valve, duct foot bend and a suitable 63 mm diameter flanged cast iron pipe for correcting the installation height of the hydrant.
