Filling of a vacancy shall be done within five (5) working days of the closing of the posting for the position except in those instances where, due to a lack of qualified applicants, the Board determines to not fill the position. It is further acknowledged that the five (5) day time limit, above specified, will be reasonably extended to provide necessary time to enable the Board of Education to meet in session to approve the filling of newly created positions.

Filling of. All and appointments for days or more shall be as or permanent and bulletined over the entire System within each seniority group with a copy to the Asst. Division Vice-President. A position bulletined as temporary after having been continuously established for one year shall be bulletined as a permanent unless it known at the time that the position will only continue to be required temporarily; if it is known prior to the expiration of one year that the position will be required permanently it shall be so bulletined except in case of sickness. When vacancies are bulletined, the bulletins shall be numbered each year and shall state whether or temporary and the rate of compensation.   • Filling Vacancies In the filling of vacancies, new positions, transfers or promotions, appointments shall be made to the employee with the required qualifications, and level of competency and efficiency as required by the position specifications, and where such requirements are equal, seniority shall be the determining factor.

  • Felling of trees The Authority shall assist the Concessionaire in obtaining the Applicable Permits for felling of trees to be identified by the Authority for this purpose if and only if such trees cause a material adverse effect on the construction, operation or maintenance of the Bus Terminal. The cost of such felling shall be borne by the Authority, and in the event of any delay in felling thereof for reasons beyond the control of the Concessionaire, it shall be excused for failure to perform any of its obligations hereunder if such failure is a direct consequence of delay in the felling of trees. For the avoidance of doubt, the Parties hereto agree that the felled trees shall be deemed to be owned by the Authority and shall be disposed in such manner and subject to such conditions as the Authority may in its sole discretion deem appropriate.

  • Rescheduling of Tests If the Independent Engineer certifies to the Authority and the Concessionaire that it is unable to issue the Completion Certificate or Provisional Certificate, as the case may be, because of events or circumstances on account of which the Tests could not be held or had to be suspended, the Concessionaire shall be entitled to re-schedule the Tests and hold the same as soon as reasonably practicable.

  • Resealing of Documents Once the work has been sealed and accepted by the State, the State, as the owner, will notify the party to this contract, in writing, of the possibility that a State engineer, as a second engineer, may find it necessary to alter, complete, correct, revise or add to the work. If necessary, the second engineer will affix his seal to any work altered, completed, corrected, revised or added. The second engineer will then become responsible for any alterations, additions or deletions to the original design including any effect or impacts of those changes on the original engineer’s design.

  • Filling Positions ‌ The Employer will determine when a position will be filled, the type of appointment to be used when filling the position, and the skills and abilities necessary to perform the duties of the specific position within a job classification. Only those candidates who have the position-specific skills and abilities required to perform the duties of the vacant position will be referred for further consideration by the employing agency.

  • Scheduling of Work Subcontractor shall provide Contractor with scheduling information and a proposed schedule for performance of the Subcontract Work consistent with the Progress Schedule and in a form acceptable to Contractor. Subcontractor shall comply with the Progress Schedule including, but not specifically limited to, commencement, duration, and sequencing of activities. Contractor shall reasonably cooperate with the Subcontractor in scheduling the Subcontract Work and shall attempt, as reasonably possible, to avoid conflicts or interference with the Subcontract Work.
