Field Notes Clause Samples
Field Notes. When available, another member of the EGHI team functioned as note-taker and recorded detailed observations on participant questions, timing of activities, and challenges arising during delivery. An external note-taker was utilized during approximately 30% of sessions. During the remainder of the sessions, I, as the facilitator, recorded personal field observations at the close of the session. Following sessions when the Program Coordinator Ms. Dudu Dlamini was present, she and I would debrief the events of the day so that her feedback on the program could be incorporated into evaluator/personal field notes.
Field Notes. Field notes will be indexed and bound as per KDOT standards. One (1) hard copy will be submitted to the County for their records.
Field Notes. All field notes shall be maintained in a bound book. The Contractor shall document all field activities, location of all stockpiled material, air monitoring, suspected additional contamination due to leaching and observations. The field notes shall also include a tabulated field conditions sheet for each stockpile which includes at a minimum: GENERAL INFORMATION - Date, Time of Entry, Weather Conditions - Name and Signature of Person making Entry MATERIAL STOCKPILE INFORMATION - Stockpile Identification Number - Date Material was Stockpiled - Contamination Type - Contamination Degree - Stockpile Soil Analysis FIELD SCREENING (SAMPLING) INFORMATION - Location and results of screening - Location and results of correlational and conformational analysis - Screening and sampling results shown on a near-scale map relative to a fixed landmark - Equipment calibration documentation SITE INFORMATION - Type of Ground Cover - Condition of Polyethelene Protection (Stability, Coverage, etc.) - Visual Characterization of Soil (Sheen, stains, organic matter, sand, clay, etc.) - Perched Water (or puddles, groundwater, rainwater) - Unusual Observations CONTAMINATION INFORMATION - Any Characteristic Odors (Gasoline, Diesel, Kerosene, etc.) - Evidence of Contamination Migration A copy of the field notes shall be submitted to the Engineer and LSP within 3 calendar days of completion of soil removal. The original field notes shall be submitted to the Owner’s Project Manager and LSP as part of the final field report.
Field Notes. All information concerning the collection of cores and grabs will be entered in a field notebook and/or grab log form. Field notes will be maintained during sampling and compositing operations. Included in the field notes will be the following. • Names of the person(s) collecting and logging in the samples. • Weather conditions. • Approximate1 measured mudline depth and tide adjusted corrected mudline elevation of each sample location. • Date and time of collection of each sample. • The sample location number and sample number. • Descriptions of sediment and any non-sediment material. • Any deviation from the approved sampling plan. Photos of the field sampling will be taken.
Field Notes. As well as the official documentation produced in relation to meetings, I took my own notes during meetings using a laptop. As I, and many other staff members, already take notes during meetings using such devices, this recording method was unobtrusive. My field notes included methodological (i.e. describing the events taking place), substantive (i.e. recording events that have occurred either as word for word or as a summary) and analytic (i.e. involving my initial interpretations of proceedings) recordings (▇▇▇▇▇▇, 2000). In addition, I maintained a field work diary through the data collection period to be reflexive and note the impact that my perspectives had on the interpretation of the data (ibid). This ‘auto-observation’ allowed me to use any changes to my own views as an additional data source (▇▇▇▇▇ & ▇▇▇▇▇, 1998).
