FDIR. The FDIR (Failure Detection, Isolation and Recovery) mechanism in the AOCS framework relates to the functionality which aims at providing dependable AOCS operation. With respect to this, the AOCS FDIR is expected to handle: • mode transition errors with the highest priority • control algorithm related errors and • unit errors with the least priority.
