Faculty Selection. Rutgers will be responsible for review and verification of credentials, appointment and coordination of course instructor(s), faculty/facilitators and their staff and their activities. Rutgers will also be responsible for taking reasonable steps to ensure that an appropriate number of faculty are available to meet the needs of the Managed Programs and projected student enrollment growth.

Faculty Selection. The schedule of classes offered for the summer quarter will be determined by the needs of the College. Consistent with the summer schedule, summer school assignments will be rotated in an equitable manner among all tenured and tenure-track faculty members within a department who wish assignments and who are qualified for the assignments available. Each department will create written procedures for summer quarter faculty selection that are subject to the CAO’s approval. In developing the schedule tenured and tenure track faculty will be given preference over lecturers and part-time faculty for all classes for which tenured and tenure track faculty are qualified. Once registration for summer quarter begins, full-time faculty whose course(s) are canceled may not bump part-time faculty. The determination of the faculty members’ qualifications shall reside solely with the CAO.

Faculty Selection. The hiring of faculty will follow the Joint Agreement on Hiring Policy between the College of the Sequoias Faculty Senate, Management and Board of Trustees. When full-time, tenure-track faculty job openings occur, there shall be no early notice or preferential hiring treatment afforded to any COSTA unit member. Rather, the District will fill full-time tenure track faculty job openings, including non-instructional positions (librarians, counselors, etc.) in accordance with the provisions of Xxxxx X, Xxxxxxx 00000 and the Joint Agreement on Hiring Policy between the College of the Sequoias Faculty Senate, Management and Board of Trustees.

  • Shift Selection Shift selection shall be on the following basis:

  • Site Selection The District shall be solely responsible for all costs associated with the project site, including acquisition, environmental remediation, and unanticipated site conditions.

  • Eligibility and Enrollment 2.3.1 The State of Georgia has the sole authority for determining eligibility for the Medicaid program and whether Medicaid beneficiaries are eligible for Enrollment in GF. DCH or its Agent will determine eligibility for PeachCare for Kids and will collect applicable premiums. DCH or its agent will continue responsibility for the electronic eligibility verification system (EVS).

  • Vacation Selection Beginning January 2 of each calendar year, employees will be scheduled a time, based on seniority, to select up to three (3) segments of available vacation leave during the time period of April 1 through March 31. A “segment” is one (1) or more contiguous days of vacation leave. No segment shall include more than ten (10) consecutive days of vacation leave in June, July, and/or August, provided that an employee may select contiguous segments of vacation leave. Each employee will be guaranteed one (1) scheduled workweek of vacation leave if requested as one of their segments. Off-shift times to select a vacation will not be considered as “time worked” for purposes of computing callback or overtime. If an employee is unable to be present during their scheduled time they may make their choice by telephone, email, or another individual with written documentation of designation, may select a vacation segment(s) for the employee. If the employee fails to select their vacation during their assigned time, the Employer may proceed with scheduling. The employee will be provided an opportunity to select their segment(s) at a later date when they are available. The Employer will publish the vacation schedule by March 1, after considering requests, as well as Agency program needs. Employees will complete a Leave Request Form no less than thirty (30) days prior to any approved vacation segment taken.

  • Recruitment and Selection Swedish Medical Center will recruit and hire the most qualified applicants to meet the staffing needs of the Center and thereafter transfer, promote, and retain such persons as employees. All such actions and decisions shall comply with the Center’s desire to promote from within whenever qualified candidates are identified, interested, and available.
