Common use of Factory Testing Clause in Contracts

Factory Testing. The Contractor shall submit a factory acceptance test plan to the Owner for approval, designed to demonstrate the compliance of the Battery with the requirements specified by the Owner and a detailed report shall be provided to the Owner for review and approval before the Equipment is shipped. The Contractor shall perform factory acceptance testing for the Battery inverters and modules (if applicable). The Contractor shall utilize manufacturers’ test procedures to test the Battery cells and modules and shall provide the logs and tests to the Owner following such acceptance tests. The Owner may elect to witness the factory acceptance test at its own cost.
