Factors to Be Considered When Entering into Leases. All Leases shall be for a purpose consistent with the mission of the University. The decision to enter into a Lease shall be further based upon cost, demonstrated need, compliance with this Policy, consideration of all costs of occupancy, and a determination that the use of the property to be leased is necessary and is efficiently planned. Xxxxxx shall also conform to the space planning procedures that may be adopted by the President, acting through the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, to ensure that the plan for the space to be leased is consistent with the purpose for which the space is intended.
