Facility Closed. If the paid holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday and the following Monday (or Tuesday) is observed as per 16.02 (a) and the University facility is closed, an employee who is regularly scheduled to work on the Saturday or Sunday may instead take a day off without pay or as a charge to earned time off or vacation time.
